my favorite thing


Cindy over at My Romantic Home is hosting a "Our Favorite Things" event about your own home.

My favorite thing about my own home is my Welsh Hutch. My Grandfather made this for my husband and I for our first wedding anniversary (last year). He had made my Mom and Dad one long ago and I had always loved theirs.
It's great to store my fancy dishes and serving pieces, along with my linens to dress the table. I will always cherish this hutch because it has so much hard work and love that went into making it. And it means so much that my Grandfather took the time to make it for us!!

    Wow! The hutch is gorgeous, but so is all your decor! Too cute! Most of my furniture was my great-grandmother's and having something passed down to you is so special.
